It was found out that the company was providing their customers with a beverage that is beyond their normal spark of energy. U.S.-FDA conducted a laboratory analysis on the coffee and found desmethyl carbodenafil that contains similar structure to sildenafil, a major ingredient in Viagra. This  coffee was advertised as male enhancement product but manufacturers did not divulge the effects similar to Viagra.

According to FDA, this undisclosed ingredient may have effect with nitrates in other prescription drugs. Effects can reduce blood pressure to unsafe level. As male enhancement beverage, this coffee can trigger risks to men with diabetes issues, hypertension or cholesterol problems, and even individuals with heart issues.

The coffee also contained undisclosed milk ingredient which was found to cause allergies to some individuals who did not know about this milk ingredient in the coffee.

Bestherbs Coffee was marketed and distributed the product all over the country between June 2014 and June 2016. Every box contains 25 of 13-gram packs of the instant coffee. Those who have purchased this product can return it to Besherbs Office in Grand Prairie for a refund.
